Leonard recently completed a master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, where he studied how temporal context in narratives is stored in memory. Now his focus is on using large language models to investigate the neural mechanisms of speech in everyday conversations. Besides that, he is interested in AI safety and the politics of AI. Outside the lab he likes to spend time outdoors on a bike, or at home curled up with a good book.
