I received my B.Sc and M.Sc from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering where I worked on Signal Processing and Deep Learning for biomedical applications and disease detection.  Here at Princeton I am working under the supervision of Uri Hasson and Peter Ramadge (ECE) to extend my engineering toolbox to the study of human language and cognition. At the Hasson lab I am working with ECoG brain signal in search for ways to model the shared linguistic information learned across different subjects with the goal to exploit it for decoding cognitive mechanisms. 

Besides academic work, I enjoy reading books, writing, and thinking; I am volunteering in projects that promote social change and justice, and I love playing table tennis.
