Ana is a visiting postdoctoral researcher, supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). She holds a PhD from the Department of Neurology and Neuroscience at the Paulista School of Medicine, Federal University of São Paulo. Ana’s work explores how the brain processes language by combining natural language methods with AI-based approaches. She studies narratives produced by patients with epilepsy to investigate behavior, social cognition, and neural dysfunction.At Hasson Lab, Ana is training to use AI language models to analyse ECoG signals from individuals with epilepsy in naturalistic contexts.
