Kira recently completed a BA in Psychology and Neuroscience at Oberlin College. At Oberlin, Kira studied the social communication of trustworthy vs. untrustworthy faces during an economic trust game, which sparked an interest in understanding the social and cognitive factors involved in language acquisition. Broadly, Kira is interested in researching how cognitive processes, like language, interact with social factors such as access to healthcare or diversity. 

At the Hasson lab she is part of the 1kD team; she is contact person for the participating families, she is responsible for data collection and is coordinating the data annotation team.
